Okay guys, I went to the dealer today to buy the rebuild kits for the SD40, the D40 and the large sight 2-barrel carb (65?)... The parts guy couldn't find anything. Since he couldn't even give me part numbers to confirm if these kits are discontinued... I'd say he didn't know where to look. Do any of you know what the rebuild kit part numbers are?

Okay, I went back to the dealership parts dept. & found a service guy who was much more helpful. I also spoke to another parts guy that once owned a 79 FJ40. Both guys in the parts dept. were stoked to talk about cruisers and will be very helpful in the future. So, anyway... I was able to order a kit for the large sight carb, but not the small sight carb. I did order two floats for them. Since, the ones that came with the carbs were dented in such a way that would be difficult to setup to specs. I hope to get these things rebuild soon with picts.
