Shoulder belts

I've been following this thread because I'm soon going to replace my seats and belts. I currently run 4 point racing belts with the shoulder belts wrapped on a harness bar. And I never use the shoulder harnesses, because I want to lean out, or do quick trips, or some other excuse.

Now I have two other 4WD vehicles that still have the factory seats and belts, and with the factory shoulder straps I can lean out as required, since the inertial devices allow that, except when way off camber.

So I wanted a retractable shoulder harness setup. The only one I've seen so far is listed on the Corbeau website. I'm sorely tempted to just order 2 of those with my new seats.

Anyone have a set of the retractable Corbeau harnesses, and care to comment on their function?

DesertDave, I got my shoulder harnesses from SOR, and I believe they are Toyota, or near exact aftermarket duplicates (SOR sells both). They mount in the stock positions (on a later hard top, or OEM rollbar) and function just the way you like. They also plug into stock belt receivers. Number 40 on this page http://www.sor.com/sor/cat305.tam?xax=21054&page.ctx=cat305.tam

WOOT. Updated my lap to the 4pt last night. Like the feature of either or. Thanks for the pictures and great insight.

Now to do some serious off roading in Baja next week.
