Dude I love the side vents and really tempted to do it myself! Think about it, it will cool down engine compartment and you won't get water all over your engine and electrical when raining!


One of the best mode ever! But the draw back is the intake might suck hot engine air.....nothing a snorkel won't fix! Or I can do only the driver side.

OP is long gone, as he sold this rig. However, the people hating on him and others giving him props cracks me up. I also like that people expected long term underhood temp data from a guy that eventually put 20" wheels and LR hood vents on an 80 series! Hahaha
 
I saw this truck in Columbus, GA last week...at Texas Roadhouse.

I recognized the headlights and Rover vents.

It now has a front ARB, winch, lift and mud tires...not sure on wheels, but definitely not 20s.

I guess it could be a different black LX with the Euro headlights and Rover vents.

At any rate, it still looked better than any other truck in the lot...'cept for my stock 99 100!
 
Thinking ab doing this & adding fans to extract underhood heat so I can run headers.
