The kid went through my old Yakima rack collection in the garage and set him self up. Long board & shortboard, he's in Nirvana.

Yeah, yeah I was waiting for this comment, been buying my OEM FJC stuff from TRD Parts in Dallas, smoking prices. I'll be calling Dan this morning.


We'll see. Reality will set in soon when I get the insurance bill for an 18 year old male and he asks for the money to fill a 23 gallon tank.

HeHe....And here's my similar story:

I gave my 17 yr old my FJ Cruiser and RECLAIMED my (stock) '96 FZJ - that would be the one I bought when he was a baby. This was actually the plan when I bought the FJC. (At first, he was nervous about the MT6 tranny, but now thinks it's too easy to drive an automatic....lol)

So I now have a double whammy: Gas/Insurance for him and a project list for me. CHA CHING......CHA CHA CHING $$$
