Bright, Victoria. Easily the TLC capital of Australia and probably the world. It's Australia's version of a Colorado ski town. I see maybe 50+ Land Cruisers of various generations everyday. I thought I'd start a little thread that everytime I go into town I'll snap the cruisers I see and put them here. If I remember.

We have FJ's, 60s, 70s, 80s, 100s and 200s galore. The photos below are from my 5 minute gorcery and mail run into town about an hour ago and a few spare I had on the phone of the cool and unique cruisers about town. Blue LX next to the 80s is my old rig and white 200 with bar work is my uncles. Silver 200 is mine.

No doubt a high concentration of Cruisers but world? That is a tall order :D

Uyuni, Bolivia is my designation of world TLC headquarters, you can see 50+ Cruisers in 5 minutes or at a single parking lot :D

That said I must visit this Bright, looks like my kind of place. Closest I made it was Wagga Wagga area, gorgeous neck of the woods :D

“According to stats gathered by Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, Australia is the most popular market for the SUV. Stats show Australia account for an incredible 10 per cent of all LandCruiser sales around the world, since the nameplate was introduced back in 1954.

Since then, Toyota Australia recently surpassed 700,000 units sold, which stacks up well against the global tally of just under seven million.”

Zero doubt Australia takes the bacon, I've rolled into towns (Kunawaratji) that are nearly exclusively 100% Land Cruisers... It's as common as seeing a domestic truck in Wyoming :D

couldnt drive 1km in Tasmania without seeing one.

Enjoyed my 2018 Pajero diesel rental tho

Ironically in our second home in Jackson WY, there are tons of Land Cruisers :)

Jackson does have a good number of them, and not just late model stuff. Gents like @wdukes have some neat vintage ones too!

Now that is some Landcruiser porn.

You havent seen nothing till you go to somewhere like Tom Price or Mt Newman in nth west Western Australia. The iron ore mining companies use almost nothing else but Landcruisers and the occasional Hilux.
Kalgoorlie, with the worlds biggest gold mine is also a Landcruiser concentration point.

This would be a good thread for those who see those articles claiming Toyota will "surely discontinue the Cruiser..."

Just underscores the narrow world view the authors have before writing those pieces. They need to get out of their USA zone.

North East vic has ya beat on variety probably. Higher pop concentration and more personal cruisers as well as the nomads. Less base spec fleet ones too. You have the farmers, forestry, skiiers, campers, hikers, caravaners and all the Mountain patrol and Ski resort trucks for Falls Creek and Mt. Hotham etc... awesome photos btw.

Great photos. Thanks for posting!

I have lived in Vic and NSW. Still can beat WA for range and quantity, Govt employees are given Landcruisers for outback work, outback taxis are using Landcruisers, plenty of nomads here towing their Jaycos up and down the coast. All the farmers have a least 1 or 2 LC and not just 7* series. You can get to most of Victoria in a car 365 days of the year.
Last time we were in Newman, someone lent us a 200 series cut down into a dual cab(thanks BHP)
