Land Cruiser 80 series OBD issue

Hope all are fine

I have a Land Cruiser 80 series 1995 model 1fz fe the issue is that when car is having any sensor issues the engine check light doesn’t turn on even if i remove any sensor and start car drive no engine light

Note: when i turn on ignition CEL comes when car is start CEL turns off
When i short TE1 E1 the OD light flashes quickly mean no code engine light is Still no flash

I don't think you are shorting the proper pins. The OD light is related to transmission not the engine.
You most likely have shorted E1and TT

You most likely have shorted E1and TT

i shorted Te1 e1 for engine codes but in my car the transmission od light is flashing
I want my engine check to work and show codes so i can repair sensors i am shorting correct pins

I think previous owner messed with the Wirring maybe because its abnormal and i saw from ecu all connections are good and oem no wire is change or damage

Is there an OBD2 port in the cabin?
Is this a USDM 80 Series?

No only OBD1 in engine bay

Ass @ppc said above. Take a pictute of the diagnostic port top and bottom so we can see the pins and wires.
