Please someone help me
What is the thing which is retarding the timing my car is running very poor its my daily driver
Power is very low in 10 time 1-2 time ok otherwise bad today i even changed the ECT connector also its something else or ECT i want to fix it as soon as possible

oxygen sensor/s replaced? Are you running the big metal air flow meter (VAF)? I assume you've had your timing checked? Any recent work done on the car?

Oxygen sensor replaced long ago
MAF black colour oem
timing is ok i think
Work done regarding this issue I mentioned all changed filters pumps sensors

Update all members

I went to a mechanic he check the car he said me that transmission filter is choked that’s why your car is not downshifting and this is cause of power loss because car remains in 2-3 gear

Have you tried to shift it yourself ? L to 2 to D . If it feels the same I'm not sure it's your problem.

Not a bad idea to change that filter and oil tho if it's never been done

When power loss i put car in 2 obviously car powe increase then i put back in D power decrease
Same in L also

yes it does and yes if the contacts are dirty on it can cause a drop in voltage to the fuel pump

This thread will walk you through the procedure for removing, opening and cleaning the contacts on the Fuel Pump Relay on the 80 truck.

After reading thru RT issues in chasing down some hard starting, I decided that after 145k, it was time to clean the contacts on the Fuel Pump Relay, in an attempt to chase a slight miss on my 94. The result was better startup, and better acceleration. It's not dramatic, but certainly a worthwhile and *free* PM, assuming you don't break anything. If you do, I believe the relay runs about 80USD

FPR and COR is same or both are for different functions
