Anyone happen to have a spare cb antennna??? Thatw ay I can keep in touch...got a cb and the cable but no antenna and no time to track one down...Thanks guys and see you all on saturday...

Actually... do you already have a mount installed? My antenna is designed to screw onto a mount... I have a magnetic base one too but I'll have to track it down if you need that type.

OK... I PM'd you guys this, but here's the UPDATED plan (I actually sat down and figured out the timing) :D

Remember to bring $5 cash for entry into the OHV.

Meet Locations (UPDATED):
1. Leave at 8:10AM from the Chevron in Mission Hills (where the 405 and 118 meet). 10701 Sepulveda Blvd. Mission Hills, CA 91345 (corner of Sepulveda and Chatsworth).

2. Castaic Exit McDonalds - caravan from first loc will be passing this about 8:45AM

3. Practice Area in Gorman. Ask how to get there from the front gate if you aren't sure. We will depart from here at 9:45AM

COMM:
CB 25 or 146.460 Simplex (I'll only be on CB)

Phil, Thanks I really appreciate it. I will see if I can get a mount rigged up today. Got a ton to do but will give it a go...Looking forward to getting out tommorow and meeting a bunch of new guys.

Your mount should also have a spring with a female on top for the male bolt from the antenna to go into (that's what she said!) :lol:

Like this:

| Male threads on the end of antenna

| | Spring (Female on both ends)

------ Mount w/ antenna connector loop

| | Bolt that runs through the mount into the spring.

I'll also try and find my magnetic base....

Got a mount in the bumper....but no spring and no time to find one...if we can make it work great and if not no worries...see you tommorow...

OK I was able to find you the magnetic mount, so we are all good to go there.

Is anyone meeting me at the Chevron or is it a waste of time for me to stop there? I plan on just rolling in there at 8:05, picking up some ice, and rolling out at 8:10... just in case someone decided to show up there...
