KZJ78 Whirring Noise (1 Viewer)

Hello~~

Got this weird whirring sound that just came out of no where. Not sure what it is. I thought it could be related to the A/C being on and/or my rev range but cant reproduce predictably. Thoughts anyone?



Timestamps of whirring noise:

• 12sec - 15 sec
• 48sec - 49 sec
• 55sec - 58sec
• 1.03sec - 1.06 *clear
• 1.11sec - 1.13sec *clear
• 1.19sec - 1.21sec
• 1.29 - 1.31sec
• 1.38 - 1.40 *clear
• 1.47 - 1.49 *clear
• 3.38 - 3.42
• 4.03 - 4.06

It did smell a lil burn-y in the cabin after all the testing driving around the block a number of times, but didn't notice any temp jumps or pressure jumps on the gauges. Nothing was smoking or smelly under the hood either.

And yes, im prepared to be shamed asking people to troubleshoot blindly lol

Your blower fan may need cleaning. Its brushes may need a check.

I think the sound was the dying throws of the ac compressor
