My wife and I made time for 2 weeks of camping in the cruiser late July. We started by heading East on the Crowsnest to meet some friends from Edmonton. Our plan was to scope out a few of the more naturally situated hotsprings in the area: Lussier and Skookumchuck. We poked around for a few days, finding both hotsprings, and meeting some interesting characters (one guy who had brought his Honda cruiser style motorbike about 40km of a pretty rough logging road for some fly fishing).

From Fernie, Jana and I headed south through Montana and Wyoming to the West Gate of Yellowstone. We only had 1 day for Yellowstone, but that was OK, it was very busy... rivaling Vancouver traffic through the park. We wetted our appetites and will definitely make a point of going back for more time in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

From Yellowstone, we drove overnight through Wyoming to Colorado to visit family for a few days. Leaving Yellowstone, we were in some beautiful mountain terrain for a couple hours, but things got flat and boring pretty quick.

Being so close to Legendary MOAB, we had to stop for a day. A quick burn through Arches National Park left my jaw on the floor. Gorgeous terrain.

The highlight of the trip for me was doing the Hells Revenge trail... literally 2 minutes away from Moab. So much fun, so different from the wheeling I'm used to...

And that was the trip. I took my wife to the Salt Lake City airport so she could fly home for work. I took a few days to make way back to Vancouver. Idaho and Montanta were very scenic, even from the interstate. All in all, a fantastic trip... except for the dismal exchange rate.

Yes, it was very cool. Around 20 C if I were to guess. I had been expecting 35-40. My AC is broken so I was lucky I guess.
