Hey All:

In the process of rebuilding the front axle and was wondering if anyone might loan me thier centering gauge? Thought I would buy Trail Taylors (much cheaper than OEM) but they are sold out. Live C Springs.

Thx.

I should add that I have keep in order the shims, l-r, top to bottom that, as far as I know, is as it left the factory. I doubt my uncle ever tore it down, and the shims look old as heck. Do I need to be concerned with centering the knuckles if I re-install the shims (with new ones) as I found them?

It has been brought to my attention that the centering gauge SST out there for purchase is slilghtly different from the tool used on older axles (mine is a 65) with brass bushings, as opposed to a bearing from, I think, 68 forward. Is that accurate?

Thx.
