Wow. And what body part might you replace after that??? Not even healed and scheduling the next one.....that's a brave soul!

Brave, yes and no. It'll save me at least my $3,000 out of pocket with insurance and I'm in a rehab mindset now as it is. Hell, I've missed so much golf this season, what's another couple of months! At least the break between knees is going to allow me to get out on a couple good camping outings!

I'll have metal in my heart and both knees by the time I'm done, but that's only 3 surgeries. I think that still puts me 25 or so short of Mo.

Welcome to the bionic world of DePuy.. Had mine totally replaced 2 years ago. No problems. Good luck, keep range of motion as a lead to a new lifestyle.

You still stretching to keep the knee flexation? Pretty much have the leg straight and that's what PT has been concentrating on the most. Knee flexation was at 132 degrees at 6 weeks which I understand is pretty darned good. Just need to keep building back the muscle strength.

Also beginning to 'pre-hab' the right leg muscles in preparation for that replacement Nov 26. I think even more work up front and I'll bounce back even better.

You ever get a brace for more vigoureous mountain hikes? Told absolutely necessary for when I ski.

Good to hear my friend! You are correct, the better shape the limb and you are in before will definitely help the recovery.
