Well while it is a bit slower at the office from the Christmas lull here are a few more picks from this trip. (These are my picture art threads, I don't care if all the pictures I have are cruiser/wheeling related

We are not going to this trail in the spring, we are going to the 4 days in low range trail. I wouldn't recomend coming with us in the spring unless chained up, ready to roll into the ravine, ready for some rageing river crossings, and ready to clear trail for a couple days. I don't think our spring trip in there will be too enjoyable or safe. We are heading there every long weekend this summer, so a later time would be a better trip to go on.
I don't know if they will let us in to the Dokie area since it is probably securitied up. I also sort of retired from sledding after the heck of a time I had getting out of where we went this Sunday with Adam and a few of his sled head buddies. I will see if I will come out of retirement, but it won't be for a while as I am still recovering.

Great pics! Curious that they left behind the beehive burner, but took away everything else? I'd be interested to know who ran the mill?
Yeah there are a few of these around here, and the big pile of sawdust in another area that we found as well, not sure who ran the mill, but it is near Kinuseo falls, so I don't know if you can somehow find out on the internet?
Here are a few of the falls, note the traffic jam of river boats down below, and Adam even got a pic of the fat lady fishing at the bottom when we hiked down

, looks like a fun trip. How cold was the river?
Very cold, we would just jump in and jump out a few times to cool off and clean up at every camp spot.
