Hey folks, I'm doing a group buy for King Shocks, it's open to any make and model so everyone welcomed. I'm personally getting a set for my 1997 LC that would cost $2122 + $190 tax = $2312, but with the group buy, I'm able to negotiate them down to $1880 shipped to your door. We will be saving $432 on these amazing shocks, you won't have buy another set every 12 months or sooner. At $100 per piece of OME shocks, they will add up really quick, so take advantage of this group buy and save big money on quality shocks. Everyone know that King manufactures some of the best shocks on the market, and their customer service is even better.

We currently have 4 people in on the group buy so I invite you to join us and visit the thread below for more details:

bump, we have 6 members interested so far, group buy is looking healthy so come join us and reward yourself with high performance shocks :)

Am I reading this right? Am I the only one that thinks that $450 per shock is insane?

I paid less than that for all 4 Bilstein 5100's that are now 10 years old and still doing great, very happy with them.

Nope, your not alone. I was looking at some radflows and I think the set of 4 for my 90 was going to be a smidge over $500.. don't quote me, I've slept since then.

Now if that was for 4 hi-perf CO's, then that doesn't sound as bad.

Some folks may have a rig that would benefit from high $$ shocks, but even in my DD 4Runner, I can't justify spending $1k on those blingy front CO's er'body is putting on their 3rd gens when a $200 pair of billies will likely give me just as good a ride for what I do everyday.

If you are going to put these on your DD or your idea of off-roading is driving to the mall then there's no need for this conversation :) I intend to use them hard, there are guys replacing shocks every 15k miles and others 30k. I don't plan to pay for another set of shocks no matter what I use it for. I if you found quality shocks that last you for a long time, that is great news and thanks for sharing. That open up other options for me to look at as well.

No doubt that these are quality, and I know they have their place, especially for high speed desert running and such like you guys in soCal can do, but not alot of that here in the southeast, unless your rock bouncing. :) Also, heavier rigs like the 80s are hard on shocks. I need some good ones for my 80, just not this good. ;)

Is the GB just for these specific shocks, or is it across the line-up? Cause I would be curious what a set of CO's for my 98 4Runner would be shipped. Site shows $994 which is less than most other CO's I've seen, so if they knock more off, I might have to retract my previous statement and reconsider...

Jynx, I'm open to help anyone save money on any model vehicle. If you can post a link of what you want, I will work with the dealer to get you the best price possible. He wants to make some money, you want shocks, I don't see a border at all, and I I'll gladly have you aboard :)

Cool, Will you check on the P/N 25001-151 - Tacoma 96-04 Front 2.5 Coilovers w/ Internal Res.

If he can get them in the low to mid $800 range I may have to see if I can make something happen.

Also, I am to assume since the Tacoma/4Runner shocks are true Coilovers, they should be fully adjustable for height? Please correct me if I am wrong. And If I need to call the guy to ask specific questions, just PM me his info, because I did notice that there was a note that said that 96-02 4Runners may require some modifications, "call for details"

Thanks and I am glad I actually took a harder look at this.

looks like $2122 + $190 tax where I'm at. I have a source that can get them for $1880 out the door. roughly 20% off.
