Is a 2014 LC supposed to come with an actual key for the door so you can get in and open the hood if you have a dead battery or electrical problem and the electric lock won't unlock?

Unreal Lol.....that is funny. I was just about to look in my manual. I knew there had to be one....even for the glove box.

I was starting to curse the dealer I bought from and thinking they had lost or neglected to give me a key.
Now I'm just amused I've had this cruiser about 3 months and I'm such a lazy bum I still haven't looked through the manual.
It is definitely time I did though...... I am not up to speed on all the controls on this vehicle for sure.

There are a ton of hidden gems in the manual... Like custom functions you can set your FOB to perform...such as... How many door handles will open for people when it senses your key (driver only, or passengers too), how your OPEN ALL WINDOWS ON A HOT DAY BEFORE ENTERING works via the FOB (hold down unlock for several seconds, and keep holding...and voila! -Your windows and sunroof magically open until you let go... Also a number of other custom functions no one would ever know exist until you crack the book.
And heck... I'm in an '08! The 13 and 16+ surely added more doodads...
