Hi all,
I hate the touchscreen in my truck and thankfully, it died last week giving me an excuse to spend too much money on a vintage kenwood head unit combo without my girlfriend knowing. When my touch screen died, it spazzed out- screen glitching, audio getting all scratchy, all the works until it finally just went black and hasnt turned back on since. What are the chances that something in the car's audio system like the amp or a faulty speaker are what killed my old unit? am i risking killing my new kenwood by just slapping it in there?
