UPDATE: added a frame recovery bracket, that I designed. also put in new carpet in the front section and added a 12v socket to the rear of the drawers along with a blue sea fuse box with power for my ARB fridge.

Added a Doug thorley cat back system after Christmas, thanks to Santa. Love the sound. Sounds a lot more like a v8. Also replaced a leaky radiator.

I want to upgrade my front shocks. Looking at slee, icon and radflo, but need opinions from owners.

Also consider ProFender remotes. I'm was thinking of those and Ironman Foam Cells

So far i like my Ironman foam shocks..... Just completed a hunting season with them driving over rough territory in west Texas and they did great

I have the pro fenders in the rear. But after riding in a Icon stage 6 fj cruiser. My jaw dropped on how incredibly smooth the ride was. Ended up ordering the icon remote resi's. Bilstine 5100s ( sourced thru just differentials for aftermarket uca) w/ 10k miles will go up for sale soon.

They are just spectacular!

very jealous and very keen to hear reviews. Very nice rig by the way you some nice, and well thought out gear bolted to that beast...

Fancy!!

you going to install the fronts before getting the rears? Looking forward to a review!

Fronts are already on, i have less than 20 miles on them.... but i will tell you they are firm on the street( but i knew that already)and they soak up pot-holes like they didn't exist. install was very straight forward, had to call dylan to get the drill bit size for mounting the remote resi on the driver side( 21/64s is the correct size for the self cutting thread bolt, the other side has an existing hole).

I'm very pleased so far, so pleased i ordered rear shocks from icon.

So I'm having a little rubbing on the frame at full turn and slight rub on the remote resi. I'm thinking about wheel spacers. Would now be a good time or should I adjust the turn stops?

Also I'm at 2.5in of lift upfront, I take it spacers would help the track width. Thoughts?

Well on the way to 100s in the hills right now, one year old sears die hard group 31 craps out. Wind up with a deep cycle optima for use in the mean time ( will be used as dual battery when I exchange out the old group 31 at a sears)

Update on the rig. I had the pleasure of replacing an icon shock under warrantee, due to a leaking seal, they took care of a full shock rebuild for free.... Great people to deal with! Also installed a dual battery optima blue top with a tmaxx dual battery controller. Re mounted the arb twin compressor where the rear spare tire was.
