If my experience (and a couple of others) is any indication, pay close attention to contact between the Slee compressor mount and the wires in your SAIC driver module harnesses. There seems to be a bit of a tight fit that wears the wires in the SAIC pump harness.
Good to know. Would some wire loom help at all to prevent this?

I think you might be okay with just being careful to not have any hard contact and sharp bends.

Check out this recent thread for three examples with pictures: Secondary Air Injection Code

Lots of progress in the background, now for some updates. I finally got the king suspension after a 2.5 month wait, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. This suspension is a work of art.

I started installing the suspension and spc upper control arms today.

I also finished the BCDC install and relocated the starting battery to use the aux battery tray.

I also ordered tires today, placed an order for 275/70/18 Falken AT3w tires. I’ll post my initial impression on the tires after I get them.

Finished the front and rear shock install. I kept the stock rear springs for now, since I haven’t finished my rear drawers yet. I also had my Falken AT3w tires installed today too.

Love it man, you’ll have to share how it rides. I’m on the fence of which suspension to go with seeing I put a lot of daily miles on mine, I don’t want to give of any comfort hah!

you are more than welcome to come an drive it if you are ever in north Alabama. I would say it rides very close to stock (maybe a touch firmer) but without all the wallowing with the added weight up front. I’ve taken it out on some gravel roads and fire roads and it was super smooth at speed. Also the place I ordered my kings from, Filthy Motorsport, treats king shock orders as custom and will valve the shocks to what you want. I’m no valving expert but Ben at filthy knows what he is doing on land cruisers

I had icon suspension on a previous 100 and would say that the kings are much less harsh for every day driving but don’t provide the same feel during hard hits ( icons valving is better suited to hard hits).

My wife also commented saying she feel It still rides like the day we got it.

Does your lc already have the suspension lift? If no how does it drive after the front bumper install and no lift?

I put the lift on maybe a week ago but I had the front bumper and no lift for maybe a month. With the arb bumper and no lift it felt floaty and wallowy. I would not recommend running this way for long-term. Also putting the arb bumper on lowers the stock front end about an inch and a half.

Installed the arb twin air compressor and wired it up. I mounted the switch pros under the slee compressor tray. Next is to clean up all the wiring.

I also relocated my main battery to be the battery in the slee 2nd battery tray and my aux battery is now a group 31 in the stock location.

Just wondering what front coil spring did you run with your Kings , Any special valving ? King offers 700 lb standard and 800 as a option , once you start putting on the weight bumper , winch , skid plates , battery all that adds up
.

Im running the 700lb/in springs up front. The King 3.0 shocks were custom ordered with Ben at Filthy Motorsports, so they were valved according to the weight of a winch, dual batteries and the ARB bumper.

I talked to Ben at length about the springs upfront and he said there was probably no wrong answer, if I ran out of preload for the height upfront then I should step up to the 800lb/in springs. Right now I'm at about 1in of lift up front (with minimal preload), I was more concerned about having a suspension that worked for the weight / use of the truck than the height of lift.

So far I am really enjoying the King suspension, It is the feel I was going after. The suspension is more firm than stock and comfortable at the same time.

How are you liking the AT3Ws and that size tire? Any rubbing?

Im really liking the Falken AT3W tires, they look great and perform well on road in wet. So far in the little mud I have encountered they have done as well as can be expected for an AT. As far as rubbing goes they rub a little at full lock in reverse, I haven't cut/ reshaped any fender liner to fix it.

When I chose the AT3Ws I really wanted an aggressive mud tire but had to level with myself that 80% of my time is spent on road (unfortunately) and the compromises of a mud tire were not worth the additional NVH.

Wanted to provide an update to the build.... Installed the switch pros main control board to the bottom of the Slee compressor bracket. On the inside of the truck I had to relocate the adaptive cruise button from the right side of the steering wheel to the left side. To move the switch you must extend the wiring to reach, I soldered each wire and shrink wrapped each wire.

I used the SDHQ mount, their mount is super nice and I am very happy how it turned out.

I also installed a blend mount for a passport escort 360 max, and hardwired the power into the rear view mirror. Yes I know a radar detector in an SUV is stupid, but so are tickets.... I have a heavy foot.

Made some updates: ups freight showed up to my House last week and dropped off some Slee step sliders install was pretty straight forward once you get the hang of the rivnuts.

I also installed a warn Zeon 10 winch and put some masterpull synthetic line on it. Got a smoking deal (like half off) on a brand new Zeon 10 winch, so that’s why I went with the zeon 10 vs the 12s. I figured that if it’s not enough pulling power I can use a snatch block to double it.

Funny story, got around to changing my oil..... everything is going great until I went to refill... my funnel slipped and poured oil down the side of my engine. Guess who also detailed the engine bay as well as an oil change
