I want to put a set of binoculars in my truck at all times. Are they gonna be OK what with Charleston's humid summers? They're not gonna fog up and get ruined are they?

TIA

If they are good bino's, waterproof, the humidity will not hurt them. BUT, the temps in your truck can easily get high enough to ruin them. Heat is your primary enemy, not the humidity.

They're some Nikon Travelite V binos. Not waterproof. I'm sure it'll get above 100 degrees in the truck during summers and humid as hell. Maybe it's not such a good idea.:frown:

They will be toast in short order. Find a pair of waterproof models with a good warrenty. I have some 30 year old Zeiss that were fogging up. Sent them back and they fully serviced and resealed them. $0 charged.
