I could have sworn I heard the tin man bouncing around in the trees!!!!
X3 on being scared!......Hell..I was clicking my heels together....anything for a little relief. The strong, strong, strong wind lasted for at least 20 minutes.

In the middle of all the kaos, I had a moment of clarity and I thought to myself...."what a dumbass you are"... standing in a canvas tent, in water, having a death grip on metal poles in the middle of one hellava storm....pure genius!

In all honesty, I really though a tornado was coming the first minute or two.....

I don't think Stacy & I are going on any more rides....obviously we bring cottonland very bad luck!!!!

K2 is going to be great.
New tow rig is kick ass.
My junk ran better than it has in a long time.
Debbie continues to drive the 80 fantastic.
I had a great day of wheeling Friday.
I love our cruiser family and at every ride Debbie and I add to it.
Great seeing everybody.

As for as the weather and my new Oztent....:crybaby:

I think it turned out GREAT! Can't figure why Jrob wouldn't let me finally drive it late Friday night.....

To the whole CLC Crew: I had a GREAT time and want to thank you all for making me feel so welcome. Sure, the weather sucked but the memories will last for many, many years! What more could you ask?

E, don't wish for bad weather! We make memories just fine without.

Of course the Cottonland reality show my get better ratings!

We will let ya'll go in June and make our decision based on it....3rd times the charm! Seriously, these things happen!

Who is the Shunt Wrangler?
Had a great time with you guys.
Fat Jesus

Glad to spend some time with a Fat Jesus. Good times for sure.

to Stay positive..Let us not forget that we had 2 perfect days of wheeling and really only one not so good. we basically opened a new park, finding the trails and trying to fnd them again is way more fun then following a map.
trip to Krock 2 was great due to a little invention called the CB. I think it was the real culprit to adding a few minutes to our trip. we had way too much fun making witty comments, about just about everything.

we probably should have known better than to camp by a river bed ( remember the last cottonland cruiser crawl at hot springs when the Bayou state group and some others nearly floated away). but hey what are the chances of that happening again...

wheeling.
Landspeeder and myself seemed to collectively come up with the best way to get Den Mom Deb stuck..

I seem to deaf ear the word "driver" and find holes.

Jrob was christened by fire with towing and trail rides. k rock 2 is not what you would call a beginners trail ( there the cat is out of the bag). which Jrob and stacy did great on and should not have any concerns about coming out again.

Deb continues to amaze me with what she can do with her 80 ( that uphill section was almost conquered! so close! )

I swear greenfox hates his 40. he puts that poor thing through hell. and it keeps coming back for more. it keeps turning the other cheek..

I didnt break anything !! that in its self is a rarity.

Good times
Butch and Bodean keeping thier balance under their big ass hat

Shirley getting on stage and playing guitar with Matt Stell and the Crashers.

greg, E, Bodean tearing up the dance flloor.

Snake farm sing along with Shirley and Jerry playing guitar.

taking vid of most of you guys on the trails. especially when yall didn't think i was recording.

trip back
we experienced pretty much every weather pattern known to man in those 2 days and got home unscathed.

This has been one of the most novel trips i have ever taken. Gonna be hard to forget..

Good points Lenny! An adventure for sure.

Once again, a big thank you to all the Cottonland crew for your southern hospitality for the hippie left-coaster.

Obviously a HUGE debt of gratitude to euclid for suggesting I put a little distance between myself and the main camp. The amazing LACK of damage in my camp was testament to that. Apparantly Greg's 'got my back' even when he doesn't think he does.:)

Running the fenceline trail with y'all on Friday was a run I don't think I'll ever forget. I think it was a little harder than ANY of us had planned on [well maybe everybody but Lenny and Joel] but nobody turned around, nobody complained, and we ended up doing some pretty cool sheit with our rigs.

I had a good time with the others at the country club Saturday night, but I'll be the first to say that there is no doubt the event was a LOT MORE subdued without y'all there. You were missed for sure.

And spivy, thanks for making my neck hurt. When you and Greg start zinging each other back and forth, it's like watching a tennis tournament up close!:lol:

My 11 year old came up to me and said, "there's some guy over there and his name tag says 'fat hey-soos'".

this had made my morning!

Who is the Shunt Wrangler?

Wranglers? I try not to wear tight bottoms...

I haven't seen tard wrangler in years!

Looks like everyone had a great time out there. I really hope I can make this trip next year. Have work to be done on my truck anyways before its ready for that though!!

Man...it looks like you guys just had a blast. Deb...great driving on that "rocky" section where you got a little tippy...I am sure you sucked in some of your upholstery..I know I would have.

Hope I can make next year's event!

Cheers.

Hope you can make it next year too Mark! I sent that video to my mom and her response was....
!st "Do you love your mother?"
2nd "Does your insurance company know what you do for fun?"
3rd "Did you have to change your pants after that?"

Awesome...heck I had to change mine (Item # 3) from just watching your driver's side rear tire liftoff...I wasn't sure if the tire was reaching for the stars or just scared of getting dirty...

I'll do my absolute best to be there next year...albeit if I was there this year...at my weight...I probably would have blown away...

Cheers.
