Hi guys..
Looks like I will be spending the 2nd half of the summer in Kamloops.
Was wondering what's around the airport in terms of a bc rec site? Is it possible to stay at a rec site for 2 months? Or any one know about a trailer park? Otherwise it's a hotel for 2 months.
Must be very close to airport,
Any ideas ?

14 days is the typical limit for Rec Sites. But I think if you move within the same rec site, technically, it's OK. Talk to the host, if you're a good neighbour, it may not be a problem to stay longer.

Pass Lake north of town looks close. $12/night.




Flashback: Straight out of high-school (1987), me and three buddies lived in a tent for two months in the Tunnel mtn. campground in Banff (Federal Site); we had to move every two weeks. Worked in town during the day, drank way too much, saving money for school; good times.

My cabin (at red lk) is 40 k from the airport. You har to go by the airport to get to it

Scott, there's also a camper/trailer/tent place (private) down on the reserve called Silver Sage, which would only be about a 15 minute drive from the airport. It's right on the river which is cool... and private, so you may be able to get a monthly deal? Worth a call.
