What type of riding are you doing and how aggressively?

Not too aggressive, dirt paths, and lite downhill. Trail riding I guess plus cruising with the boys on old logging roads.

I had a K2 Zed X and was very happy with its performance. I was a little more agressive than you and popped a couple of spokes. it was light enought for what I wanted. I now run with a Jamis Dakar. BIG STEP UP!
