So there's a wall behind the the chair in the picture ... and the backside of that, towards the front of the truck, is now the bed ... right??

Did it end up being a queen size mattress?

How much floorspace did you end up with in front of the "garage" bulkhead for your living quarters?

Does the lift on the back of the truck actually support the ramps you built?

Like Mr. Bigcountry ... I love this concept. Please keep the pics/updates comin' sir.

"The Bigcountry stamp of approval" - now that's sumthin right there fellers! Glad you like it but don't get too worked up till you see it in person.

That first picture is from the back of the truck lookin toward the front. You are lookin at the steel framework of the new bulkhead wall and the wheel stops, etc. The third pic came out kinda dark but it's from the front of the truck looking to the rear. The big white blob is the sun on my overhead door on the shop through the open rear door on the truck. Had to go with only a twin size bed over the hood of the cruiser. To go any wider I would have had to raise it up to the point where it would have been unuseable. There is about 12.5' from the new wall to the front of the truck for the living quarters and I'm still trying to work out the best arrangement for that area. It will probably end up with a fold out couch/bed, small kitchen area, some small storage cabinets, shower, and can. I am trying to figure out how to get all this in there and still have a small pass through from the cab but I'm thinkin that aint all gona fit and the pass through is gona have to go. I'm open to suggestions at this point if'n ya got any.....

Ain't no use reinventin' the wheel here sir ... that's damn-near the same floor space as my Lance. Go to there website and check out the floorplans for some ideas. That would also roughly translate to 'bout a 22' or so fifth wheel so you mite wanna surf some of their floorplans as well. Print out ones with features you like then try to mix and match to get the most suitable for your needs. Make a nice large-scale drawing of your interior dimensions and then make lil' cardboard cut-outs of the basic interior features like a stove, s***ter, fridge etc. so you can move them around to see how they fit ... sorta like a jigsaw puzzle.

Just some deep thoughts from a shallow mind.
