What cha gonna do with the Dodge?

Home safe and sound. No major issues at all. Thought the AC was gona need work but checked the heater hose valve at a rest stop and found the problem. 18 hours, 1028 miles, an 11.6 MPG ( I was shocked). Time to start saving those beer cans so I can afford to do a little work on this thing!:p

Great news sir ... thanks for postin' up.

It's a strange feelin' to land at an airport over a thousand miles away and expect to drive home a truck you ain't never seen. Hard to explain 'less you done it ... welcome to the club.

Be done for Clayton??? :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

Yep - felt a little strange at two points: sitting at the airport waiting to be picked up and pulling out of the driveway to start a 1,000 mile trip with an unknown truck. Had on problem shiftin the auto though:D

Didn't get too much done today. Just got all the old server mounts and junk off the walls inside. Some measurin and figurin. It's gona be a tight fit but I think she'll go. Still trying to figure out a way to keep the liftgate and still have a storage area for the ramps and a reciever hitch in the back for towing a trailer when needed. I think it's gona have to go:crybaby: Maybe Kowboy can mount it on the side of his gooseneck to make loadin the side by side easier???

Anybody know what this big dish thingy on the roof is good for? (pic to follow) I'm sure it was for the computer stuff but don't know if it's good for anything else or not (TV?):hhmm:

Built me some long a$$ ramps - will they hold?

OK - they seem to be holding - but will it fit?
100_0483.jpg

OK - front half is in - it's gona be tight!

Well, she fits but I could charge admission to the show when it comes to me climbing my fat a$$ out of there (sorry- no pics of that fiasco)

Good truck fits, now pack sleeping bags & a cooler & come to the crawl.

Charge admission to you loading the truck & unloading, GAS MONEY!

Is it me or do I see the bed squading down and almost rub the rear tires of the truck(red)?

screw the truck those stickies are way cool.

I was waiting to see who noticed first.:D I can't wait to see how fast I can taco another driveshaft with these stickies!

Yep - air bag retrofit on the rear of this truck. Crank it and the compressor starts up and fills the bags - kill it and open the dump valve and the rear squats a little (not much cause the springs are still there kinda like overloads I guess). Made some wheel chocks from hell today to bolt to the floor in front of the front tires. They will stop any chance of this thing moving forward in the truck. I'm gona try to use two crossed straps from the rear of my rig to the front floor mounted "d" ring to secure the rig inside the box. Should hold it nice and snug.....:hhmm:

I did noticed that you had the new tires.

I am still wating for an update on the other thread "I am all Sticky"

JUst a couple more pics of the new divider wall/upper bunk shelf, wheel chocks/stops and tie down, etc. Got most of the electrical sorted out with a new breaker box and all. Just need to find some suitable fixtures for the lights and we will be "useable". Not where I want it by a long shot but enough (barely) to make it worth bringing to the redneck gig.:steer:
