I agree 100%. Thought the same as soon as I seen a couple pictures.

Would take my 70 FJ40 over this one any day. Have 4th and 5th gen 4Runners and 2nd gen Sequoia if I want a comfortable ride. 48 years driving FJ40s these are still my favorite ones to drive, rattles included.

I imagine that if you can afford one of these, you could afford to have a 100,000 sqft warehouse full of other rigs, including a nut-and-bolt restored FJ40 or 10.
Given the choice between an FJ Company GRJ-40 and an Icon, I'd honestly go with the GRJ-40.
