Still have my 2020 HE...still love it. When the 250s came out, I was a hater. I was even a hater when my wife said she wanted to look at them for her new ride. She really wanted a white one but settled on a '26 Trail Dust. We just got back from a round trip to southern WV and I've completely changed my mind on them. Its 100% not a 200 series. But it was never supposed to be. It has more road noise and the hood rattles at 75mph. But that little 4 banger handled the mountains with ease. We averaged about 20mpgs at 80 mph for most of the way ad we never had an issue on the way up. I used to drive those same mountains in my '91 YJ with a 5 sp 4 banger...down shifting all day. I'm not a big guy and the vehicle actually fits me better than my 200. I swear the climate controls run super hot too. I keep my 200 set at 72 with constant heated seats in the winter. I had to keep this 250 at 65 and I would turn the heated seats/steerig wheel off after a few mins. Anybody else seeing that? Anyway...long story short, we're happy with it right now.

Congrats on the new LC! Like you, I am falling for the platform very quickly, and I started out as a denier as well. I noticed the same thing in our GX550 in regards to the climate control. I usually keep my vehicles around 67-70, and I have found myself leaving this one between Lo and 65 at best.

Same here. Wife suggested we get one. I scoffed, “A hybrid? No way!” We took a test drive and I was an instant convert. We both love our ‘25!

Congrats and glad to hear you're a fan coming from the 200. I'm going to look at a 250 tomorrow and very excited.

I think we can all agree that the Prado is a great "wife-mobile." ;) It has always been since the last generation GX460.
Funny, my wife loves the way the LC250 looks, and I'd guess they are female-driven at least 50% of the time (at least around here).

As a owner of a non-LC250 Toyota hybrid, their hybrid systems are pretty awesome in general.

Drove a Hybrid Camry the other day. Very impressed.

Love the hybrid 250.

Overall, I love my 2025 LC 250 1958 edition. Great visibility, turning radius, and plenty of power when you need it. Nitpicks…storage is so-so, but I’m used to a pickup with storage under the rear seat, fuel economy…so so as well and it just needs a larger fuel tank.

I think Toyota hit a home run on styling and down sizing it a bit for trail use!

That's what the Lexus lineup is for. "Frat Girl" tuned "Trophy Wife" Styling at its best
