Just got back from Dirty Toy School...WOW.....

Sounds like time for a lift...with the coilovers you have on the front, and the ARB, you are probably close to stock. A couple of inches would have probably suited those trails a bit better.

Exactly!!

I am going to put the 440 Constant .75 lift OME springs on the rear which SHOULD give me about 1 1/2 " lift ...from what we have found after you put them on. Then have radflo put on the back, which should not matter in the lift situation.

Then I am going to have my guy raise the coil overs on the front till they are 1/2 inch from max. Then see how she drives.

If my numbers are correct it should give me 2" in the rear and about 1" to 1 1/4 " in front.

It won't be any better with the OME fronts because I am still starting at a NEGATIVE 1" to 1 1/4" deficit from the arb bumper.

What I don't understand is that they list them as separate springs and shocks, not coilovers.

The only options would be if someone created a lift with spacers...but who knows how stable that would make it being that high up.

Beware of topping out with the OME 440 constant and the Radflo shocks...Radflo should have something a wee bit longer that could work well with the OME springs in the back.

Another thought (and I'm just throwing it out there)...what about 2" spacers in the front, and lowering or adjusting the coilovers...getting them in the sweet spot, but also getting that little bit of lift you were looking for? Radflo didn't suggest it, but I never questioned why or what the downfall would be.

Maybe someone else can chime in with more expertise?

I spoke with Glen over at Radflo and he said if I leave 1/2" I would be fine.

So what I need to do is see exactly what is left, minus 1/2' and see how much lift I would have left.

The back isn't such a worry. I can get a 2 inch lift in the rear with the radflo shocks and be fine. The fronts are where you run into trouble if we are not careful.

BTW who are you ?!

My brother and I were in the white FJC. We were in the other group. You may not remember us, but I remember admiring that front bumper/light set up on your 'Cruiser. What a great weekend!

I can see you are hooked! The dominos are starting to cascade! Before you know it you'll have it regeared, 35'd, lifted and a thinner wallet to show for it. At least that's what happened to me .

I've always wanted to go to a BB camp...nicely done and you are to be commended for doing it!

Great stuff! Nice videos. It's fantastic to see someone really use a 200 as it was intended! Keep up the great work!
