Got my oil problem fixed now the head decides to go

Engine filled up pretty quick along with the fresh antifreeze shooting out around the exhaust manifold like a water fall along with huge clouds of white smoke.

Question anybody ever pull the head WITHOUT removing the timing cover I JUST put on? I know the cam gear would be a pain.

hey calm down are you sure it is leaking there right behind the head is a plate that has your egr tube going through it. tomorrow check that out real good it could be leaking from there and spewing onto your exhaust.

its shot..........the crap is even coming out the tail pipe and the oil is white.

and the anti freeze is shooting out the rad..

Yea that's what I was just looking at. I could back it up a bit (the crank) and on re-install bump it back up that fraction of an inch back up to tighten back up the chain. Actually I did that before,it just hit me.
I don't see an issue with leaving the timing cover on, except it's gonna be a chore to get the timing chain stretched out (tensioner) to get the cam sprocket back on...

Hey naw, I's traveled round 'nuf to kick jus 'bout any suthun bakwood axcent

Sorry to hear 'bout the cylinder head, just works that way sometimes -you do realize that any repair is a perfectly acceptable excuse to upgrade . . . . I've always done my own port/polish/head work, but I hear LCEngineering or EngnBldr make fine replacements :D

This is a brand NEW head. Its my fault why its leaking. The motor was rebuild by a pro shop 10k ago
