Just Bought another 80

Just picked up a green 1996 80 with 137k for my wife. She loved mine so much that she wanted one of her own. It has a roof rack, lightbar and winch that will find its way on my truck. We traded the Navigator we had for it. Now we own nothing but 80's.

It is the same one gray daniels had. Was going to by it from the aution but price got rediculous. Was bought by a car lot in florance who I know. He had it and could not sell it so I offered an even swap for my wifes premium fuel burning Navigator. Needless to say my wife now has a Land Cruiser.

Thats weird about the auction pricing on Cruisers. Greg and I were there a few years ago and spotted a 91 FJ80. We thought that we were going to steal the thing but it brought the moon. I bet that dealer had to dump that one too.

This one sold at aution for 9100. Then he put tires, brakes, tune-up and oil change on it. Then it got old on him and he advirtised it for 10000 just to try to get his money out of it an still couldn't sell it. When Gray Daniels had it they were asking 13500. No matter where you go, it is almost impossible to steal one at auction. I saw a 1993 with 220k sell for 6700 in slidell.
