As you can see, my garage is a nightmare. So I had to put my tub in a second storage unit. So now its time to start working on rusted sheet metal.

This is what my ambi door and side panel looked like after a good blasting. Interestingly enough the picture here is bottom of the side panel, water must have been sitting on top of the tub gasket for some time.

As for the side of my ambi door...I'm just thinking about filling in the holes and welding a new fake edge.

Lower door...the weatherstipping must have been holding water like a sponge...

I paid $950 for the everything except the frame. That seems to be the going rate around here from the places I've called. It beats using chemical strippers and a wire wheel that I was using prior to going this route...

looking good

make sure you prime that s*** asap.

do not want that raw metal to start rusting :)
