EDIT: I’ve added some more photos of numbers found on the switches to help anyone looking for the same.
///—///—///
If you’re like me and looking to do a heated seat update in your 80 at some point…
The 2nd Gen Toyota Avalon seat heat switches from a 2002 XL trim are simple drop-ins…the yard noted the Avalon as a 2002. I didn’t check the VIN plate though.
Heat switches were located in the door panel.
I grabbed the pigtails and extra wiring.
I’ve been told these are the same switches that sit in an ‘02 Lexus LX470
All told, I paid $5 each.
They are a direct drop in for an 80 series. They’re snug and literally CLICK into place. No cutting or using a dremmel to make them fit.
These aren’t hooked up yet…I just wanted to make sure they fit, and they do. Perfectly.
They’re out now…they need a good cleaning along with my console, hahaha!
I can’t find actual part numbers though…these are simply ON or OFF…no low/high, fyi.
