Ok. I'll come up Friday night too then but it'll be late so shoot me a text once you're there to let me know they won't have the gate locked at midnight.

only been there once so not guarantees but there was no locked gate last time. I'm hoping to get up there around 6:30 or 7:00 depending on work and traffic. We'll keep the fire stoked for ya.

Y'all planning a pizza and beer night this trip? The 80 may be down for a few but I might run down to han out a little one night.

Yeah sure. Steverino's was pretty danged good so a repeat would be in order. Just thinking out loud but we might consider doing a carry out instead of eating there, last time i was there I'd heard the local popo were setting up check points to and from the park.

Congrats Henry, it goes without saying that's one hell of a woman to put with you all these years. So what's the verdict? Fri night pizza in S Pittsurgh with da' boys or what?

Would love to be on the trails no later than 10 ish local time.

Heading out tomorrow afternoon. Jynx, what's your status? Steverinos for dinner and a few beers.

Wish I could have stayed for the real fun tomorrow, but it was worth the ride to hang out and BS a little. You guys should have a great day for riding tomorrow. At least I got to ride for a few. Hope to see some good pics from tomorrow.

I hope you guys had a good run today. Hate I missed it, but having the truck drivers spread that 66 tons of rock was way easier then if I had tried to do it...

All my gopro video blows and i didn't take 1 picture, hope you did Danny.

it poured somewhere around 2 AM Sat morning and I slept on my air matters, on the trailer, under my easy up, Sid was in his coffin tent. I stayed dry and actually got cold, Sid did not. :flipoff2:

AOP is an great park, good trails that offer something for everyone and tons of it, think it's become my favorite pace to wheel. We ran a bunch of trails today but it was slick after the rain early Sat morning so traction wasn't great but we did ok, didn't even break anything.

Don't know what it is about us coming down I-75 around Chattanooga but seems every time we come through there it has to rain... buckets. Traffic sucked and the rain sucked, aside from that a hot and great trip.

Cool video!! Didn't think anyone got that spot on camera especially the smack in the rock at 1:13, that's what steel bumper are for. thanks!!

I boiled 45 mins of gopro video down to about 3 minutes, was slick earlier i the day but dried out after my batteries died.

It's a good thing ya'll changed the trip from Beasley. I was in the area with my son, so we went by on Saturday around 1pm and the gate was close (at least on the north side).
