John and I are leaving from the Chevron station on the right just before hwy 50 (spooner summit) at 3:00. Then off to Hermit Valley Campground right next to Deer Valley trail entrance. Should take us about 1 1/2 hrs from there. I usually gas up in Minden. All are welcome to travel with us. Originally I think we had planned to leave at 2:00 but something came up.

I'm not sure when I'll leave Reno, kind of depends on how many loose nuts and bolts I find.
Wouldn't it be cool if we all had some way to get in touch with each other on the road, like maybe a magic box that we could talk into and hear each other?

I'll probably take my time after work and leave Reno between 4 or 5. Going home tonight to do the pre flight maintenance and go through the gear to see what I need.
Ok point taken. I will work on getting my magic box credentials. Or you could just meet us at the G station.

For those driving up on Saturday morning.... I plan on rolling through Minden at 8:30 or so, stopping to fill up at the new Mavericks station on Highway 88 (across from Douglas High School).
There's still a chance I may head up sat...
