I've got Monday booked off already and are planning on heading out on Saturday morning, not sure where yet.
Craig, you mentioned you were interested in doing a trip back to those mines, that was by Carpenter Lake right? maybe a little more exploration in that area?
Well the July long is approaching and I am wondering what is the plan? Roche Lake is good with me and I believe that destination was suggested last year after Bob Lake. I live on the Island and have to budget $120 for ferry fares plus fuel and extra travel-time. The cost of these trips is always an issue, but then I remember back on past trips and the great memories and never have regretted the cost.
I am willing to go - so let me know who is in? and when and where to meet. 'life is for living'. My $.02
Hi Glenn:
You are always welcome on our runs. Gary T and I are meeting Mat at Steve T's house at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning on Sharpe Street. Can you make it there?
Yes I could, but would like to to go up Friday to beat ferry traffic congestion. Where is the destination and where could we meet Sat that is easy to find - - wherever that is. Looks like Aaron is going up Friday
GPS coordinates?
Glenn:
I was just talking to Gary T who lives up the hill in Coquitlam and he says you could come and crash at his house on Friday night if you want to.

When we get lost that is the only wheeling we do, I think a member from Kamloops mentioned checking out fuel mileage on gravel roads has become the norm. LOL I am at 778 840 8879 if anyone wants to call for a Friday departure we are flexible.
Are we going to camp at the lake? where? which side? we are leaving Friday morning.
ps we have never been there before, we would like to find camp before we get lost
I can send someone who is going full GPS tracks and waypoints of that area, I have it on Garmin so anyone who has it I can e-mail direct. Just send me a PM with your e-mail.
At the last meeting I thought it said that you go past Roche Lake campsite, past Black Lake campsite and on to Ernest Lake and find somewhere to camp there. I guess just scout around the lake and find a good spot and we will find you Saturday afternoon.
