Is there going to be a July meeting? I'm only up here for that month and it would be neat to meet some folks.

Last meeting at the LCI location.

Since Rob is closing the shop at the end of the month, we talked about having the July CC meeting on FRIDAY THE 14TH instead of Thursday. The plan is to have a BBQ as well as a garage sale of whatever Rob will chose not to keep for his future bigger and better shop.
I can bring my BBQ, but we will need at least one more. Cooler for beer will be need as well.
Again the plan is to have the meeting on FRIDAY does it work for everybody?
suggestions? comments?

Yes, I was talking to Rob Millson today and the July Coastal Cruiser meeting is definitely next Friday, July 14. The time is not determined yet, but there will be a BBQ, so I would imagine the meeting will start a little earlier than usual. Rob may have a lot of items laid out for his liquidation sale.

Agenda topics:
-Final Cruiser Days prep. and plans for trail run later.
-Recap of July 1 run to Chataway Lakes area.
-Organize plan for Whipsaw trip August 5-7.
-Volunteers to help Rob move stuff to S. Langley container.
-Club group photo at August meeting, possibly up Cypress Bowl.
-TLCA membership
-Raffle

We want to thank Petra N. for her generous $40. contribution to the Rob Millson fund. Petra is a single mother of three children and has three jobs to make ends meet, so her kindness is all the more appreciated. I believe in karma, so I hope good things will come back to you Petra.

Good things already have.... I have met the nicest, generous, coolest:cool: group of people in the TLC World. . Over the years, I have witnessed the genoristy, care, and support of the Coastal Cruisers members in incidents such as a member(s) passing on, been ill, and a life changing accident such as Rob's. The Group pulls together and shines through again:)

The group as a whole exudes good Karma!!!

Thanks,
Petra

I couldn't have said it better Petra, very well put. Thank you all so much for your support and good will, I am doing quite well with my leg and am walking around with a little asistance from Mr. Cane every once in a while( well probably less than i should be but it's kind of hard to move things around in the shop with a cane in tow ) and in that vain I would like to thank Mr. Wilkinson for his never ending offer to help with the organizational end of packing up 11 years in the same shop ( PURG TIME :crybaby: )

So anyway the club meeting is definatly going to be on FRIDAY 14TH OF JULY, there will be smokies , burgers and beer as well as a host of Cruiser related stuff for sale / offers / free stuff, i will also be around on Saturday for pick up's.

Phil will be brings some gear so we can watch some wheelin vidio's, so if anybody has anything good on tape or DVD bring it along for the show.

Pirates of the Rubicon

Yes I do have it Rob.I'll be bringing it along.

My name is Ryan. I have come out to a few meetings before. I would like to come and say farewell to the old meeting place, and see how you are doin. I usually hang around with Martz and Steve.

I used to have a beige 1980 350/420 fj40 that was fairly done up. I moved to a smaller, more fuel friendly rig (samurai) while i finished school.

I own that 45 cab that you used to have outside of the shop. And it does have a 8274, but it is just sitting inside a box in the cab rather than on the front.

I got just about everything i need for it, minus a couple small bits that I may have to talk to you about on friday ;)
