JDM clear-corner markers for 80

Your 80 has the quad-light set-up. Cool!!

Can your local Toyota dealer not get the OEM clear corner markers for your 80? The reason I ask is that those are shaped different(ly) than the JDM and the N. American-spec 80 (a little thinner).

IF you cannot get them for whatever reason, then I "might" be able to get a pair through my parts guy, although he's(we're) not supposed to be able to get any parts for foreign markets. Let me know if that's the case! I can ask him and find out.

Also, I'll post a couple of more variations of the rear lenses for the 80 I've just acquired last week. So if you want to check my thread with the clear lenses you can let me know exactly which ones you like the most.

my LS is a 1993. My headlights are different than the Japanese models. I'm attaching a pic so you have an exact idea. You'll notice my left-side corner lamp is broken. And I already have the clear turn signals.
Looking at it closely, I don't think the crystal clear would look nice.
I read in another post that you also carry clear/red taillights as well as clear side markers. I'm interested in a full kit: front clear-sides clear-and clear/red tails. Let's make a deal.

Yes Doug it'll fit no problemo

or the U.S. LX 450s?

No, dont even think boud it .As we said before, the grill shape is different between the two, and therefore the shape of the headlights are different too.

Verified - trim will swap

Here's a shot of the Crystal Clear corner lenses from Mot. Notice the trim is for the '94 and earlier grill style (no chrome on the bottom edge).




After some minor modification to the factory trim and the Crystal Clear housing, I was able to use the '95 + trim on the Crystal Corners.



I think the manufacturing tolerances on the aftermarket Crystal Clear lenses are not as high as the factory pieces; so this swap would probably work without any modifications on the JDM clear corners.

Assuming you can still get the new OEM clear front corners from Cdan, you have a choice of either going with front/side clears or crystal-clears.

Which way you want to go?
I've seen the OEM clear front corners with both regular clear and crystal-clear fronts/sides and they both look good, IMHO.
