Seeing as though the last few were quite popular, I say we try again at a new brewery. Let's show some support to the brewery that supports us! On January 28th, we will meet at Holy City Brewery for a few beers and then head around the corner for some waterfront beverages at Freehouse Brewery.

Holy City supported LCLC with quite a few cases of beer at GSMTR this year. Rumor has it they won't be able to support this year due to some legal matter... But their beer is delicious and they always keep something interesting on tap that isn't sold in stores.

Freehouse Brewery, a waterfront establishment that is literally right around the corner, also has some great beer and what I would consider to be the best local variety of stouts. The atmosphere is quaint and we might actually get some good photo opportunities.

Who's up for beer and/or Mountain Dew Water!

Holy City opens at 11:00, I'm inclined to arrive at around this time. This is a democracy, let me know if you want to be there at opening so we have guaranteed parking, or if we should push the meeting to early afternoon due to family/work matters.

Wish I could make this as we visit Holy City every other Monday for lunch and a beer. I'm headed to Vegas that morning. Definitely up for these type events in future though. ONSC started by meeting at Carolina Ale House monthly way back when...

Greg! Yeah, we have so many good breweries around here, it'd be a shame not to exploit the bounties of the land... There are a few more planned for the year - hopefully everyone can make them.

If you get a free weekend, feel free to post up an ad hoc meeting.

In.

i just hit the newest brewery in town it is called Charles Towne Fermentory in West Ashley. they have 5 beers at the moment I like the unfiltered IPA (sungazer 6.8%) maybe we should do a precrawl tasting :)

Anyone have a place I can pitch my tent so I can come enjoy some beers? :hillbilly:

You could camp out behind our home under construction.... but I can't guarantee the air nailers wont be running...

Have we set a time? I'll be there, but I doubt I can be there before noon.
We should do more stuff outside of football and the traditional hunting seasons. Looks fun
I'm quail/woodcock hunting the national forest in the morning, and will be there between 12-1. You're welcome to join me for both if you're up for a lot of walking.

No, we haven't set a time technically speaking, so let's do 12:00 noon.

@dustin weaver @Yardboy @girraffe @ErikinSC yall want to meet at my place and caravan? If so, let's do 11:30. Erik, we can also pick you up on the way (Spinx at Ladson and 78?) if you don't want to come all the way to my neighborhood.

I'm going to sit out on this one...It should be a good weekend to work on the Chick'n.
I'll probably check out Cars and Coffee in the am, then come home and get started stripping the windshield frame. Hopefully I can get it primed and the first coat of paint on it by Sunday.

Were cruising to breakfast now...

By 'we' I meant Trina, Shelby, the Yota and Me. Rendevous pending....
