Jamboree wheeling

Great time, huge event with over 300 people. I met up with the OMC club (Thad, Marty, Dave, Jim) and Art & Woody as they flew over Joplin. The drive down was eventful, but we finally made it to the fire and the Tempelton Rye.

Friday morning we hit the trails. Disclaimer; this area received record rains earlier, so all the trails were severly washed out. I stayed on the easiest trails, and still had plenty of tire lifting (got my money's worth)

BTW, I'm trying to be more Cruiser-like, how do you like my 80 wheels? Sorry I don't have any pictures of it in the driveway with the tires all greased-up.

I don't have any pictures from Saturday. It had started raining late Friday night into Saturday, and of course Saturday night, so I opted to ride with Thad. But to sum it up, it was so nasty we spent several hours winching, and re-adjusting body panels on Marty & Thad's trucks. Of course there aren't any pictures of me single handedly pulling Marty's 80 up a hill after his winch gave out, but I did see a few of me playing winch-line boy on Saturday. Good thing I dressed warm.

Anyway we had a blast, I think everyone finally made it home despite some more adventures on the way. It was great getting to talk to some of the sponsors like Chris (trdparts4u), Bud (Budbuilt), and of course Marlin.
