Such a nice truck. I really hope we see you guys this summer. But the Marines are not big on vacation time. I have seen my son like 3 times in 4 years (Army, not Marines but...). Anyway, thanks for the updates. If my 60 was the inspiration, this one has far surpassed it. Count me as very, very impressed and humbled by the effort and commitment.

Andy, thank you and your son for his service!!! Yes when Brooks laid eyes on your rig, he said that's the one! I want my 60 to be like that. Also i cant thank you enough for our experience we had on the Rubicon, you and the whole Trail crew was awesome and patient! I hope we can meet up again on the trail.

Bob and his Family are in San Diego for Brooks graduation. This morning after work I finished up the last of one of the most amazing builds I have been apart of. Shocks installed, alternator working, test drive and go her covered up for when they get home. Congratulations Brooks and Thank you for your Service. I wish I could be there to see your face when you pull the cover back. It been one of the highlights in my life to have been apart of this build. Your Dad kicked ass and there is always a special feeling when you step back and say " I Built this " and Bob you earned that ! See you on the trail Brother

The picture above is when we brought it home. I posted it when I wasn't done with the rest of the pictures. So here is some more.

I just read this post completely. This is great. I know that young Marine is going to be extremely surprised and I wish I could be there to see his face. I pray the our Heavenly Father will watch over him and his battle buddies and keep them all safe.
On a related note...Rob is truly an outstanding, unselfish individual. He probably didn't share/brag on other builds he took part in. But, ask him about a build he helped with in Ga back in 2008.

Thank you Brother, not sure how to respond to this. 2008 was about Josh. This build was about a Father wanting to go above and beyond to see his sons dream Cruiser come to life. I was lucky enough to be apart of it. It's what we do.

Thank you James for the kind words and payers. My son loves the Cruiser! So happy to have him home for a short while until he heads back. Rob is amazing friend that has spent many hours working on this 60, I really need to thank his wife Wendy.

Yesterday Brooks got to drive his 60 for the first time off road. What a Great day. The 60 is working perfectly and there were smiles from every angle. This rig came out amazing. Bob, his Family, Friends everyone came together to get this project done on time.

This right here says it all. What makes this hobby so special. Doing what we love with Family, sharing and passing what we enjoy most in life. The Cruiser community and its future is in good hands.

Great build Bob, Brooks, Rob and George! Congrats on graduating bootcamp and thanks so much for your service! If Brooks friend has any desire to make another light bar mount, I would love to get one, not a big deal if he can't though. Again great job, I just looked through this build twice, I'm jealous of the 5.3, I think thats my next project!

Had a great view yesterday on our way to lunch, Via some back roads

Man i love that shot! Well today we had to take Brooks back for his schooling, it's been a tough day! He is ready and excited to get started with his training. His 10 days of leave went by to fast, He loves his 60, we didn't get to do as much wheeling as we were hoping. He loved driving it and can't wait to hit the Rubicon with it, most likely it will have to be next year. Thank you to @landcrusher909, @orangefj45, @Cruiserdrew, @reevesci and everyone on MUD that has helped out and the committed on this build!!!

Thanks!
Bob & Brooks
