Hey guys,

Last night I welcomed the latest additon into the garage. Born in 1989 and of Japanese heritage, she rolled in at a healthy 2470 kgs with 190,000km.

12HT Diesel, H55F 5 speed, PTO, F&R cable lockers, rear sink, stove and bed (camping kit). Getting some OME installed next week.

I have to stop the madness I already want a BJ75 pickup. This is surely a sickness. I'm looking forward to some trail time.

NICE! Congrats on the new arrival. Looks nicely loaded too - everything but the kitchen...oh, never mind :D

Not helping my mild case of wagon fever any...!

Thanks for the cudos. Drives nice and smooth.
It was already registered on the Island for over a year so I didn't have to go through the import process. Passed the Vancouver AirCare with flying colours.
The only thing I need to tend to is a loose front end issue that should be fixed with a full set of OME.

Yip. She purrs like an angry kitten.
I need someone to show me how to get those trail pin stripes and back me up on the trail when I get stuck...as I know I will, even with lockers and a winch. The key to using lockers and a winch is knowing how to actually use them :rolleyes:. You guessed it, I'm a noob. But we are all noobs at one time.

nice rig! I went and looked at it back in the summer he had it for sale for $14 grand and I was ready to jump on it. He called me that night and told me it sold! I guess he changed his mind and upped the price as I saw it for sale again for higher(still a good deal but out of my price range :( )

We love our HJ61. Problem is I let my wife drive it and now she dosen't want to give it back. It's "HER truck now". Well it makes it easier to get investment cash.

PS. Good looking truck.:cool::cool:

congrates on the 61

Update: The OME is installed and even a bit of custom work to get it all set up. The guys at ATEB did an amazing job getting the truck completely tuned up and ready to go. They even took the time to show me the ins and outs of the PTO and lockers.

I can't wait to finally hit the trail as it's been a long time coming.
