I’m currently in the middle of doing a headgasket , and the machine shop recommended ITM gasket kit, does anyone have any experience with these ? Couldn’t find any info anywhere on them

Are you sure he didn't say OEM?

That and Cometic are the only two I would use.

Translation: No, don’t use those. Go OEM updated head gasket. Carry on.

The OEM headset isn't that expensive and its not a place to save a few dollars. Head-bolts can be measured and if in spec re used.

You gotta point there..

There's a few companies that make a real nice gasket. Not rocket science there. I use a number of ITM parts but the HG is not one of them I would gamble on.
