HI GUYS,
Be fore I start, I hope Rod's leg and LC are getting better, and Bills wife is OK
and the rest of the group are doing well.
I made it back from CHURN creek , the prado burned half the fuel on the way home, that was the only bonus !
Some of you may remember that my co-pilot that was not well and just did nothing is off to rehab, if i would have known that the guy was useless i would
have not brought him, i shouldn't really say that, because the only good thing about it is that he is sober and doing much better, it was a last minute decision.
I dropped him off at the harbor light detox in the downtown eastside. I was inside signing him in , came back to the prado 15 minutes later, camera with the priceless shots of the trip gone, tool box gone , satelite radio gone, spare clothes with spare vehicle keys gone, not to mention that my wallet had got lost on the trail the day before, THANKS to MIKE for the 40 dollars that he len t me.
After work on thursday i went down to visit him at detox, I was only inside for 5 minutes when i heard the 2lte fire up. I had just made it outside. SOME of you might remember that i modified the exhaust, so anyone could hear the prado echoing a few blocks away. The last i heard the motor sounded like it was doing 5000 rpm plus.I notified police, took the train back to New West

Sat may 26 found the prado, near hastings and heatley, parked a little ways away saw 3 thugs heading towards it, now people this is the wrong thing to do ! i confronted them! and yes i could have been hurt or killed, the police came around the corner and three people were arrested and i got the prado back, with minimal damage, not even those thugs could blow up the 2lte

thing really happen in threes

Wow, I wouldn't wish a week like that on my worst enemy. Well maybe part of a week like that.:D Hope your home insurance covers the other stuff which was taken. I have been lax of late putting the club on - except at nights. I just figured that a standard RHD truck would spook would be theives to go looking for another vehicle which they know they can drive. Hope this week is a better one for you.

WOW aaron thats crappy about what happened to you and i hope you got your wallet back cause i know ho wmuch of a pain in the ASS it is to get all your cards replaced.....
Karma man karma ..those thugs will get there share one day dont you worry

With these expensive Cruisers I guess we have to be paranoid about leaving them out on the street, especially on the East side. I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune Aaron, and I hope you get your credit cards cancelled pronto.
My wife is OK and feeling better, thanks.

Aaron, so sorry to hear about this horrible incident. I've had my share of stolen tools and vehicles so I feel your pain. Just glad you managed to get the s***s who did it! Any time I had something like it happen I always wished I got them. Hope you get at least some of the stuff back.

Transfer case in neutral

I sometimes leave my transfer case in neutral figuring that the half-wit trying to steal my truck might give up when it doesn't move.

kill switches kill switches....use em everytime.

Very sorry to hear about such a s*** week. Hope your Prado fairs ok. Well look at it this way, if the head goes blame the theft and maybe ICBC will replace the head for you.

I've driven thru these areas in Vancouver, no idea how places can get like this. Time to get bumsville started. A couple shacks up on hans island(island Denmark and Canada fight over..??) And ship the basturds there. Dump em there. Round em all up. Then plane drop food and drugs. Eventually cutting out one or the other. :) I hate criminals and scumbags.

Thanks guys , i had an exellent time wheeling with you guys and that out weighs all the crap that happened, thanks for the concern i hope that crap never happens to any one else , as for the 2lte it still runs exellent
