So I was checking this out today;

http://denver.craigslist.org/car/314249463.html

My thoughts are that he is asking way to much. It sits on 37's but has about 6-10' of clearance of the tires roughly. WAY to tall. For a expedition style rig it would have to be lowered. The thing is it already has slee bumpers and side rails. Slee "I was told" built the suspension. I just can't figure out what it is. Anyway, its rough, needs paint 200k mile, needs body work etc etc. The thing that gets me though, the rain gutter is bent most of the way. Is it worth getting andd fixing up or is it better to start clean and just go usaul slee 6'. I am just wondering if it's to far on the crawler side.

I bet Christo could comfirm the story if you asked nicely.

Keep looking, asking WAY to much!

I'd say fake.

Turbo charged straight six but currently not working. Motor runs well
I've got to agree with Capocaccia on that.

And besides, it's clearly not a '92.

"Turbo charged straight six but currently not working. Motor runs well..."

Contradictory statement.

True, poorly worded, I read it as motor runs but turbo is not working. Doesn't make it "fake"?

Looks more 95-97.

Easily swappable stuff.

That truck has history here, not fake. Last owned by IIRC Bradass80, a quick search may net results?:D

I stand corrected.

:flipoff2:

Has a Lexus badge up front. All the toy stuff on the rear. Truck runs, but the turbo won't kick in which is why he said that. I forgot a front link was broken too haha.

Amazing that thing is still around.

Ben is still at Slee.

That is the ramp champing-est truck I have ever seen.

If you call Slee to ask about it, you will probably speak to the man who built it.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you want an Expedition type rig then you really don't want a 6" lift, do you? Don't most of the expedition set up rigs stay low (i.e. OME 2.5") with the heavy spring rate springs to handle the weight?

OK, here's the skinny,

Truck used to belong to Ben and he built it before he joined us. It is a 92 and he did a custom turbo / intercooler on the 3FE. The suspension was built by him. 3 link front and custom link system in the rear.

Was a ramp champ as can be seen in the pics. It was sold to Bradd (bradass) and he sold it when he bought a Tundra.

Not sure on the current shape and status on the truck.

PS, Ben learned a lot from this, especially not to make a 80 a ramp champ :D but make build the trucks different.

Wow. Ok, now I really feel dumb.

... Did the turbo setup ever work?
