Hey all,
Quick question. I got my 40 running last week (after bumping it to break loose a frozen something or other that kept the transmission engaged despite the clutch friction plate separating from pressure plate (?terms)).
Long story short, during the process, I looked at my clutch friction plate, and as far as I can tell, the thing looks completely worn out. Manual says 0.3mm thickness above notches, but I don't even see notches.
Thoughts?
I'm planning to use the 40 as my DD for a couple of months until we buy another car, at which time I can put her away to get the clutch replaced. But looking at this thing, I figure it may not last for 2 months of driving!
