Is this a factory hitch?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a hitch for my 2005 LX470. The through bumper hitch was covered by a new bumper cap and I just want to get a traditional underslung hitch and bolt it on. I found this on FBM and they claim it came from their 2006 LX. Can you guys confirm if it's the factory hitch or not?

Looks like aftermarket.

@WannaCruise AFAIK, there are no under the bumper "factory" hitches. Just OEM, like pictured, and sourced from US companies. Hence, there are a lot of different versions over the years for the 100.

I was looking at aftermarket hitches but the one I wanted, the Hidden Hitch brand, seems to be on National back order. The ones that are available are the Curt brand and other relabels of it. I do not care for that style where the exhaust is framed out in a box.

You can also buy those "in the bumper" hitch trim pieces and cut your bumper skin out and make it that work. Fine if you aren't towing at max capacity.

Ironically I have all the pieces from when I had my rear bumper replaced. The Body Shop didn't cut it out nor did they paint filler cap.

I actually like the smooth bumper look anyway so I have been looking for a bolt on that is as integrated as possible.

I like the look of the Draw-Title, but they don't seem to be in stock anywhere.

If you off-road at all, the frame around the exhaust is great, keeps the tailpipe from getting crushed. Anyway, your original one appears to be one that would fit, easy to go test place it and make sure the bolt holes line up.
