Ironman 4x4 lift kit for FJ45 questions

Hi guys,
Has anyone installed an Ironman 4x4 lift kit on their 45? I have mine installed, but I'm concerned with how stiff the springs are in the rear. I had to switch to different shackles then what came with the kit due to my Saginaw power steering mod, but this does not look right at all. Here are some pics. I tried putting weight on the back of the truck, but they don't budge and I can't even come close to installing the shocks.

I had this problem with putting Ironman leaf springs on an fj62 a couple of years ago.

there is at least one, if not a couple, of threads discussing Ironman leaf springs to be un-usuably short on a variety of vehicles
