Any have any suggestions for a good ipod connection to a 100 series stock radio?

Sorry that I can't help you with a good one. But perhaps my experience can point you away from a less than optimal choice. I have the:
Video,Audio Information Solutions for Toyota and Lexus (iPod integration,XM and Sirius SAT radio integration,MP3 integration,Auxiliary input)
which works, but not well. It will run the iPod but will not provide text on what song is playing. It will also not allow me to pick an audio book from the navigation unit. I can listen to an audio book if I switch the controls back over to the iPod. So technically it works, but in a very inelegant way.
I am disappointed in the unit.
It looks like they only support 2001 and newer Head units also. I was hoping to find something worth while for a temporary solution.
I have a simple adapter in my 99 that just gives me an 1/8 plug. It plugs into the CD changer control. It doesn't charge the ipod or let you control it from the head unit but it gives good sound.
