OK Mud Electricians out there, I have a question for you.
I am looking at installing an inverter in the rear PS quarter panel in my 80. Have the space, and have already run 6ga Marine-grade wire back there for the "household" circuit which has a dedicated deep-cycle battery.
My question is that if I get an inverter (Pure Sine Wave) which only has one plug at the inverter, can I then take that and hard-wire to a standard household single-gang two-socket GFCI? I would like to have GFCI, and the added safety. Would this cause any issues with an inverter?
This is the model I am looking at, as it has enough power for my uses.
