Hello - new '94 FJZ80 owner here. I've had three old pre-Tacoma pickups as well as a 2001 4Runner, which I've owned for about 10 years. I recently returned from two years overseas, where I got to do a lot of off-roading and overlanding in the 4Runner. But I've always loved Land Cruisers, and I'm stoked to finally own one! I bought it in North Carolina and will be road-tripping to Denver, where I will be posted for the next 2-3 years. I'm keeping her stock for the road trip and focusing on cleaning up the interior, knocking out deferred maintenance, and baselining. When my 4Runner gets here an a few months, the major mods will begin! Looking forward to meeting up with some folks to wrench, wheel, camp, etc. in Colorado!

yea... where are the pictures of this alleged 1994 FZJ80?

Welcome to the 80 series community, you now have been granted despotic powers of all things Toyota 4x4 🤫

It's embarrassingly stock right now. Still scrubbing off tree sap from the exterior and cigarette tar from the interior. The body and frame are straight and clean, paint is pretty good underneath, and only a bit of surface rust here and there underneath, so it will clean up well.

Welcome to Mud! I looked up Yeravan on Google. I bet you have some interesting camp fire tales.
Wish I was closer to hear them.

Can't wait to rip off the running boards. Ok, you asked for it so here's a few photos from the last two-years' worth of 4Running around in the Caucasus. Much love to my faithful 4Runner, but I am looking forward to not breaking something every weekend, haha. I'll post some more pics later.

Nothing embarrassing about a stock 80.
Welcome to Mud…. Remember that we like pictures of “major mods” and wheeling adventures. In return for those pics we will offer our opinions. :flipoff2:

That could be one of my two 80s!

Thanks for the awesome pics!😀

Nice photos, thanks. The 80 will feel like driving a vault compared to the ole 4runner.
