Thanks for the pointers. I'll have to get a buddy to help me out. I jacked up the front end and tried to visual inspect everything today. I'm not seeing anything too out of place, that I can see. I'll post a YouTube link I made of the front end, see below.

Hello all,

So far I've managed to swap the rear and front tires, tightened anything potentially loose, and went for a long drive. I drove nearly an hour with lots of stops, bumps, and turns. I thought it was gone...
Speed forward a couple of hours. I decided to grab a pizza and on my way I experienced a little steering shake. Almost the DW but not too bad; maybe 8 miles tops.
Speed forward to two days later and the DW came back with a vengeance. This time with the entire family in the rig and going for the first family cruise. Needless to say that lasted 15 minutes, tops.
So, it sounds like something came loose or something gets heated up and the DW arrives. I will have another look this evening and see if I can locate anything loose or out of the ordinary.
Looks like I'll have to do a parts order, maybe bushings, etc. Anything else I should consider? Any good local shops in the Southern DFW region I'd be able to drive to (I'm S. Arlington), if I decide to cut a hole in my wallet?
Thanks.

Sorry, I like the hard shell. Plus, I have a bikini that'll work in the nice days. What I need now is to be able to drive this bad boy! Still chasing the Death Wobble... : (

I tell everyone, Tandem Automotive in Ft. Worth. They can fix anything.

I've talked to them. Probably ordering a lift kit through them. If push comes to shove, I'll take it there. Trying to take shot of fixing myself before I hit up a professional. Lol

Did you have someone move the steering and check the links? Center arm movement or relay rod looseness? I'd also still put it on an alignment rack and get some baseline numbers.
Yea, everything looked okay. I may have posted a video in this thread somewhere. If not look me up on YouTube, "cougarzluv". You'll find plenty of videos. Lol

I used to be that way and then I learned I didn't know what I thought I did. Pablo has been amazing to work with. He finds stuff wrong that I hadn't checked. Tandem has a 100 point inspection that doesn't cost too much.

I'll have to check him out. A 100 point inspection is a good idea.

He's got my 97 at the moment. I just bought it a few weeks ago.

What was your caster?
Haven't had it in for an alignment yet. Trying to make plans for have it done soon. Tightened a few bolts Sunday. Tried to take it for a spin but the battery was dead. Doh!
I've got a slow battery draw, probably the radio. I have to put it on the charger every 4-7 days of sitting.
Did get a few parts for him; ignition switch and a shifter boot. :-)

Ahh, so you're the reason he won't respond quick. Lol.
No more turn signals in my ARB bumper! That was today's project at Tandem.
